Heyy you guyss!
Okay, so much has changed since my last post! I have officially graduated college and I am literally so excited for the future!
But anyways, tonight was the Met Gala and I was literally at work while all of this went down ๐๐however it wouldn't be right if I did not cover this event.
Lets just jump right in without wasting anymore time, this year's theme was: Camp Notes on Fashion
Okay, let's get started!!!

Okay you guys! Lady Gaga KILLLLLLLEEEEEDDD the carpet. She put on a SHOW! I literally loved both of these looks! I honestly loved all 4 of her looks, yes I said 4. I wanted to discuss all of them but we have soo many more to look at! I cannot pick a favorite out of the two looks above. I love different aspects about them both....the parachute dress and the "asymmetricalness" (def. don't think that is a word but whatever)..She gave me Barbie vibesss ..all looks were created by Brandon Maxwell.

Yasssss Kendall & Kylie! I lovee both of these looks. They give me fire and ice, Daphane and Velma vibes. Some are comparing the two to a particular scene is White Chicks (if you know, you know)..However, I'm obsessing. The feathers, the hair the netting.. everything!!! It was good to see them both together on this carpet. Both looks were designed by Versace.

Alicia Keys looked absolutely amazing. This sequined tulle look was inspired by Grace Jones, however when I first saw it, it gave me elegant, modern day, Statue of Liberty vibes. If the Statue of Liberty became a person this it what I imagine she would look like. This look was designed by Wes Gordon at Carolina Herra. Swizz Beatz also looked amazing in his forest green suit jacket.

Whew Tiffany. So when I saw this I was like....whaaaa? This gave me Voodoo man from Princess and The Frog vibes lol ...Circus pimp, idk lol This sequined pantsuit was designed by Michael Kors and Fedora by Stephen Jones. What do you all think?

Hailey Bieber. This was easily one of my favorite looks of the entire night. EASILY. Hailey looked absolutely amazing. Like I have nothing negative to say about this look at all. This bubble gum pink on her skin color looks beautiful. This was designed by Alexander Wang.
Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar. Cardi B. But right now she is Belcalis. I'm not sure how I feel about this honestly but since it is THE Met, I am not going to go into too much detail on what I do not like..however she does look stunning. This Ruby gown gives me erupted volcano, lava vibes. The different gathered, wave layers in the dress gives it that continuation of overflow. This dress took over 2,000 hours to complete. Designed by Thom Browne.
Janelle. She has slowly starting to step more out of her norm red carpet looks...I am loving seeing her in more color. One of the cool things about this gown was that the "eye" was motorized and actually blinked...pretty cool.. This was designed by none other than THE Christian Siriano.. One of the most talented, creative, designers in the industry right now.

There is no way you can tell me that this is NOT A LOOK. Another one of my favorite looks tonight. Honestly the lace tights completed this look. The feathered cape...everything OMG. Obsessed. This silk chiffon dress was designed by Valentino and creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Last but not least. Anna Wintour. AMAZING. This gown is covered in pink crystals. This simple silhouette looks amazing on her. If this isn't camp that I don't know what camp is. Loveeee. This gown was designed by Chanel.
Okayy you guys! I loved this year's theme at the Met Gala. There were sooooo many amazing looks on tonight's pink carpet. ๐ I had a hard time picking a favorite.. as you can tell. Comment your favorite looks!!!
Until next timeeee!
-xoxo, Evv
