Heyy you guys!! I hope February has treated you well! We only have a few days left, this month really flew by! Midterms are coming up, I cannot believe we're basically halfway through this semester.. I'm starting to get anxiety about graduating (I have no idea what I'm doing afterwards). YIKEESSSS!
Anywayssss, I'm a LITTLE late on posting this post so let's jump right in!
As you know the 91st Oscars was held this past Sunday!! Let me tell you... their looks... were amazinnnggggg especially well... just stay tuned...
Okay first up was actually not an Oscars Red carpet moment but an amazing after party look that I couldn't resist posting...
Chloe and Halle. You cannnnot convince me that this wasn't 🔥🔥🔥. Like seriously. I had no absolute plans on mentioning these girls first on my post, but I randomly saw this picture on twitter and couldn't resist. These girls know how to serve a look. Of course the girls are wearing Versace.
Okay you guys. I'm going to be completely honest. At first when I saw this.. I didn't hate it. My initial reactions was more of a shock...masculine vs. femine? I think this look represents the changes going on in the fashion industry and society..more gender neutral.. I think Billy Porter made a STATEMENT. He had a plan, he came and he conquered, SLAYY then Billy... This look was created none other than Christian Siriano.
Awkwafina. Whew. Okay this look would HAVE BEEN BOMMMMBB, if the suit was tailored more to her body..With the necktie being the drama of the outfit, it would have been nice if the pants were form fitting...these pants make her appear wider.. Other than that, I loved this look. PINK is definitely a color for this season. It was a very fun look, or either I'm just into glittery looks and what not... She seems like a fun girl (considering the fact...baby girl took a shot of alcohol while on the red carpet lol). This look was created by Dsquared Summer 2019 pre collection.
Glitter again for the win! Octavia Spencer looked absolutely amazing in the gown. I literally love the sleeves on this dress.. I'm obsessed! This gown was also designed by Christian Siriano.

Okay you guys! REGINA. I COULD NOT decide which was my favorite looks of the two. SHE LITERALLY KILLED BOTH! Honestly, I LOVE THE White gown but then she did a nice little switch up with the peach tone dress for the Vanity Fair party. Both looks are classy, elegant, feminine.. should I continue?
The white gown was designed by Oscar de le Renta and the peach gown by Monique Lhuillier.

First. I have always been obsessed with E! Co-host, Guiliana Rancic.. This high-low, lace gown is GORGEOUS. Soo much detail...omg Lovee. Dress designed by Kelly NG.
Being completely honest. This was NOT it. Hot mess. Literally too much drama in one dress...the layers of tulle, the high low, the contrasting bow...whew. I think the dress could have been designed a lot better. I wonder how this gown would have looked if it was all the same length, remove the top half of tulle and replaced it with another formal fabric (I'm thinking the top of Taylor Swift's 2017 Grammy Award look...in pink) while keeping the bow...now that would have been a look.

Okay wow. SZA. As much as I love SZA, I wish she would get a new stylist. This look isn't incredibly terrible, however when I first saw it... it gave me the bride of chucky mixed with prom vibes... Idk I'm just not feeling it...

Okay. Let's just say Jennifer did not come to play you guysss! THIS IS A LOOOK.. The color is Wow.. The asymmetical neckline..wow.. Ruffles...wow..
Gown was designed by Elie SAAB haute couture.
This hands down was my favorite male look on the red carpet. Stephan James.. I loveeee this. This burgundy and white combo. This velvet suit was customarily designed by Etro. AND He has on a brooch. YASSSS!
Whewwww.. Meagan Good. She looks absolutely amazing.. gives me Egyptian Goddess vibes. Literally love this color on her.. the short hair.. everything. This was one of my favorite looks!

Umm... The most anticipated performance of the night...Lady Gaga.. I have mixed emotions about this look. Don't get me wrong she looks gorgeous.. There is just something missing for this look.. I can’t put my finger on exactly what... It honestly just might be the silhouette of this gown...
Okay you guys! Its after 12 o'clock and I DID NOT mean to stay up this late lol. However I really enjoyed these looks sooo many I didn't mention..Constance Wu, Jeannie Mai, Cicely Tyson... I honestly want to do a separate post on the Vanity Fair After Party because some of those looks...NEED to be discussed.. ha! Fingers crossed I have time this week to do so!
I hope you enjoyed it! Make sure you comment to let me know your opinions as well!!
xoxo
