Heyy you guys! I'm back as I promised with Part 2 of looks from the Met Gala.
I have some funny tea..(okay well maybe not that funny but), I read via TheShadeRoom. In the first Met Gala blog post, I stated how the Migos would have probably looked better if they weren't so flashy. I do understand that is common in the entertainment industry..BUT... the rapper Offset's $150k chain is reportedly MISSING IN ACTION.. HOW SWAYY!
But nonetheless Lets get started!!!!
Speaking of Migos... Lets start of with Bartier Cardi.. B
Okay so this obviously looks very familiar to Beyonce’s 2017 Grammy performance dress (if you don't believe me GOOGLE IT) which was designed by Peter Dundas..very similar..(No shade, no shade). However this gown was designed by Jeremy Scott who is the creative director of Moschino. I do, like this look on Cardi, but I would have preferred her to loose the train in order to keep focus on the gown itself...and now that I mentioned that I cannot stop looking at the train...But this is the Met Gala so I guess it works..maybe...
Okay, so the next celebrity is KKW herself...Kim Kardashian West
So yes, I love Kim K, but this post is not bias. Kim looks AMAZING. This gold fitted gown is made by none other than Versace. I loved the high pony tail with this dress also. Kim played into the theme a little with the cross embroidered on the dress but THEMED or not Kim is easily ONE of the Best Dressed in my book.
So my next celeb would be Selena Gomez
My, My, My, Selena Selena, Selena.. There are soo many references I could make about her look at the Met Gala, but Twitter already dragged her enough. First and foremost before even looking at her gown.. her spray tan looked GARBAUGE. I get it, everyone wants to look bronzy, and golden, over highlighting etc.. But Selena No Ma'am. Secondly, the gown..I do not think this gown was a bad look however the top of the gown throws me off just a tad. I could do without the first ruffle under the neckline. This was not Selena's best moment on the red carpet, and from all of the pictures I have seen of her at the Met all her smiles look forced...Better luck next time..
Up Next is Ariana Grande

First, I LOVEE Ariana. Secondly, Selena.. this is what you call a tan..Third, she looks AMAZING! Like how could you not love this look? This dress was designed by Vera Wang. Ariana NAILED the theme in my opinion. Her gown consists of the painting The Last Judgement by Michelangelo. This gown is BEAUTIFUL. If I were to change anything about this look would be the GIAGANTIC Christmas bow on her head, but its all about the headwear at the Met Gala right?
Lastly JLO
Everyone knows JLO does NOT come to play! Like really, she looks stunning! I love everything about this dress! This dress is designed by Balmain (Oliver Rousteing). I am a little curious as to why everyone came for Kris Jenner's feathering at the bottom of her dress but didn't for JLo..hmmm? ANYWAYS I loveeeee it.
That's all for part 2, no but really...But as promised there will be a part 3 of my thoughts of the Met Gala looks! I also have a few more interesting celebs styles I want to review I later blogs, I'm so excited.. That's all for now! Let me know what you think in the comments!
xoxo
