NAACP Image Awards 2018

Hello Everyone!

So this first blog post will be about the different looks from different celebrities on the red carpet at the 49th 2018 NAACP Image Awards.

First and foremost a little background about this award show just in case anyone is not familiar...
The NAACP Image is an award show that is held annually by the American National Association for the Advanced Colored people honoring people of color. This year's event was held on MLK Day, January 15th in Pasadena, California.

Soooo without further ado lets get started!!

First celebrity I am going to discuss is Miss Yara Shahidi! The black-ish and also grown-ish star was wearing a black, sheer, tier gown by Vera Wang paired with Jimmy Choos which cannot be seen. Here's a quick look..

                         I personally LOOOVEE this look. Every time she walks a red carpet she never disappoints, even her charater on the show grown-ish has a very stylish wardrobe! Claps to her stylist! 

Soo next celeb would be.... Let's all have a moment of silence *pauses*... okay, next celeb would be Niatia Kirkland , better known as Lil' Mama. You'll understand the reason for the moment silence in just a few.. Here is Lil' Mama's red carpet shot..

There are sooooo many things I dislike about this particular look. Lovee "embracing the natural hair look".. but maybe  it could have been up differently... Personally this entire look is bad, my overly artistic, creative people might love it but yeah, it's a no for me. I'm not a big fan of this dress either. This navy blue dress is by Hayari Paris. She really hasn't had the best looks on the red carpet..What do you all think?

Next is Ms. Issa Rae..

Hmmm...Issa Rae lovers are probably going to hate me but I do not like this look either. I believe this dress would have look better at a knee length.. I'm also not a big fan of turtle necks but I will say it works here. (still don't like it) I also would have shorten the sleeves and removed the belt.. BUT her heels can stay! She's definitely had better looks than this! The sequined dress is by Marc Jacobs.

Last but not least The Tracee Ellis Ross

I absolutely LOVEEE This entire look. This sleeveless, gold, sequin dress is by Narciso Rodriquez and gold clutch by Tyler Ellis. She looks so sophisticated and classy. Tracee cannot do any wrong!

Oscars 2020

Hey you guyys! It's been a minute since I've done a post but its here....How could I miss the Oscars? I'm not going to give an exaggerated introduction..Let's get right to it!
